Chris has been in the Scouting movement since ~1989 and is currently a Scout Leader at 250^th Manchester (St. Mary's) Scout Group in the North Tameside District, which is part of the Greater Manchester East County.

Chris graduated from the University of Manchester in 2005 with an MPhys Physics with Astrohphysics, and has since been working as an IT Professional (Developer/Designer, J2EE/.Net) for a multi-national company.

Chris has had a keen interest in IT for many years (as evidenced by his day-to-day work) and frequently conducts minor personal projects outside of work (including self-tutoring in PHP for websites such as this). This interest also helped Chris to obtain Queen's Scout status in 2007, with the development of a Scout database record-keeping application based in Microsoft VB.Net^© Windows Forms and Microsoft SQL Server 2005^©.
