The Activities
There are many activities to have a go at during the Technology Camp, lots of which aren't available on other camps, including:
- Digital Photography
- Electronic Construction
- Flight Simulator & Games
- Geocaching
- Radio Orienteering
- Radio Stations (JOTA)
- Robot Racer Team Challenge
- Sound Studio
Courses/Prework
Some activities require pre-work to be completed before the camp (view activity details for further info) and presented to the course leader at the Friday night registration, these are:
Please note that Electronics (not Electronic Construction) also requires each Scout to pre-register before the camp!
Booking Activities
If you think you are coming, please let us know before the deadline (end of September), by using the Booking Form and telling us the (approximate) number of campers, how may per activity and whether any leaders can help run the weekend.
All activities are time-tabled throughout the weekend. Campers will sign-up to times on the Friday night during their initial briefings. If you're only coming for a day, it is very important you book the activities in advance!
Can you help?
Leaders, can you help the team putting on the event? If you know a bit about computers, know how to solder components onto PC boards
or even have an amateur radio licence, then your skills would be welcomed by the team!
If you're willing to help, please Contact the team to discuss which area is best for you.
