Learn how radio amateurs communicate across vast distances - from around the globe to bouncing signals back from the Moon or orbiting satellites. To complete the badge, you will be learn about radios, plus make and log radio calls yourself. This will keep you occupied for hours, but it is well worth all the effort!
You will need to pre-register by contacting the course organiser and have completed the pre-work. This work will be tested on Friday evening before you are accepted onto the course. Further details can be found below.
Please note, we only provide a course for completing the Radio Communicator section of the Communicator badge.
Note
The places on the Radio Communicator course for 2010 are limited to 30 Scouts (so make sure you book in early and with correct numbers)!
